The aim of the project is to bring a strength-based approach that has successfully been used abroad and adapt it for the use in the area of employability and labor market access by the three target groups of the project, namely

  • children, youth and young adults;
  • people seeking jobs (recent graduates, seniors, women or the long-term unemployed);
  • parents returning to the labor market after parental leave.

With the help of our international partners (Appreciating People from the UK and Kessels&Smit from the Netherlands) we transfer the know-how of appreciative inquiry and appreciative living and design a course that serves the above mentioned target groups to identify their strengths in order to enhance their access to the labor market. Apart from the course methodology and a booklet about appreciative inquiry written in the Czech language, we develop a Czech strength test, a diagnostic tool that the target group members can use to identify their individual strengths.

As part of the dissemination and publicity activity, we organize a series of workshops, information seminars, write articles about our approach and cooperate with organizations who can further help us reach members of our target groups (family centers, job centers, youth organizations, university career centers etc.)
